My practice focuses on estate and business succession planning, trust administration, probate, tax planning, and business law. She counsels clients on various estate, tax, and business planning matters and represents individuals in probate and trust administrations. Through my experience, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of my clients’ personal and business financial needs, ranging from tax planning, compliance and reporting to strategies to preserve and transfer wealth and businesses to selected beneficiaries. In addition, the planning I provide my clients often reflect their additional objectives of making charitable bequests and minimizing the risk of litigation. I work closely with accountants and other trusted advisors to ensure that my clients' goals are achieved.
My practice includes drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, business agreements and ancillary documents, and consulting with individuals and businesses on tax planning strategies. Often this planning can involve complex holdings, international assets, intellectual property, the formation and dissolution of entities, cash flow projections and gifts of discounted interests.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Concentration in International Relations, Summa Cum Laude, from UCLA, with a minor in Asian American Studies. I earned my Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, with honors including Dean's Honor List and Law School Fellowship Recipient, and served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of College and University Law. I then earned my Master of Laws in Business Law with Tax Law Concentration from the UCLA School of Law, where I was a Dean's Tuition Fellowship Recipient.
Throughout my career, I have been active in non-profit organizations that support women and minorities in the areas of civic engagement, professional development, business ownership and leadership.
