The State Bar of California looks for volunteers to share their expertise, energy and commitment. The California Young Lawyers Association (CYLA) is the nation’s largest association of young lawyers. It serves as an advocate on issues important to its membership and presents to the State Bar Board of Trustees. Serving on the CYLA Board is an excellent opportunity for young lawyers to get involved with improving the transition of new lawyers into the legal profession and serving the public along the way.
Applicants must be a “young attorney” that is, an attorney who is in his/her first five years of practice or is 36 years of age or younger.C
If you, or anyone you know would like to make a positive contribution to the work of CYLA, please submit an application for membership. The deadline for candidates to submit their application forms for appointments is January 29, 2016.
