7 Qs with Lisa Miller, Esq.
Featuring Patricia Glaser
WLALA recently asked attorney Patricia Glaser seven questions. Here are Ms. Glaser’s responses:
What is your favorite technology device? Why?
My big i-Phone is my favorite technology. It serves just about all of my communication technology needs, and it’s all in one big device!
What is your dream vacation? Why is it the best ever?
My husband, my two grandsons, and I have traveled together to Australia and Israel, and we all really enjoyed it. Our next big trip will be to Spain. It doesn’t get better than that!
Name the person you admire the most, and the quality that impresses you the most.
I most admire my husband - he is definitely my better half. His decisions and reactions are right-on, at least 99 percent of the time. If he is your friend, you have a friend for life.
What is your most significant accomplishment, and what impact did it have?
Practicing law on behalf of my clients is my greatest accomplishment. I try to provide the best possible legal leadership and support. I try to positively affect my clients’ futures.
If you could “fix” one global challenge, what would it be? How would you fix it?
I would nix the Iran nuclear deal. It’s just a bad idea.
If you could have a career different from the one you are now pursuing, what would it be? Why is this your alternate choice?
Professional baseball player with the New York Yankees. When I was in the 5th grade, I was watching a Yankee game with my father. I noticed there were no girls on the field. My father told me that by the time I was ready to take the field, there would be girls playing. But I haven’t had time to break into professional baseball since I was in the 5th grade.
What do you hope to accomplish after you retire? Why is this meaningful to you?
I’m lucky to be perceived as good at what I love to do, so I don’t think about retiring from the practice of law (but I don’t want to die with my head on my desk, either). I don't intend to retire. But if I slow down some 10 years from today, I would like to devote more time to Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Center Theater Group (and all live theater, really). I’m not going to garden and I’m not going to write the great American novel. If I have to pick something for my bucket list, I want to attend Wimbledon!
