Meehan Rasch is an appellate court attorney for Justice Brian M. Hoffstadt of the California Court of Appeal, Second District.  Prior to joining the Court of Appeal, Meehan was a civil appellate attorney in private practice at boutique appellate litigation firm Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland, where her practice included Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit, and California and U.S. Supreme Court appeals, petitions, and amicus briefs, as well as trial monitoring and assisting with summary judgment motions and statement of decision processes for clients still in trial court. 

Meehan also teaches at USC Gould School of Law as an adjunct Lecturer in Law, Legal Writing and Advocacy, and taught at UC Davis School of Law in 2011-2012 as a Wydick Fellow.  She is a past Legal Writing Institute Scholarship Grant recipient and winner of the ABA Journal Ross Essay Contest, and a former board member of California Women Lawyers, Stanford Pride, and the Third Wave Foundation.
